Yobe Desert Stars home ground will undergo renovation ahead of the 2023-24 Nigeria National League season.
It was gathered that the Yobe State Government has approved the upgrade of the August 27 Stadium, Damaturu.
The renovation work is aimed at meeting the necessary requirements and standards approved by the league body.
The upgrade will be funded by the World Bank in conjunction with the Multi Sectoral Recovery project(MRCP).
Yobe Desert missed out on a promotion playoffs spot at the end of the 2022-23 NNL season.
The team is currently preparing for the new NNL season under the tutelage of Sallau Naira
