Terhemba Tyochivir, 17, a secondary school student, is said to have killed himself in Akpehe, a neighborhood of the Benue State capital Makurdi.
The student at Government Secondary School, Gboko, committed suicide on September 21, 2023, a Thursday.
According to eyewitnesses, Tyochivir was found unresponsive and was quickly taken to Bishop Murray Hospital in Makurdi, where he was later pronounced dead by medical staff.
