In the Agbarha-Otor community of Delta State’s Ughelli North Local Government Area, a pastor by the name of Alex Itedjere is accused of killing a young girl.
On Friday, September 22, 2023, the pastor allegedly killed the girl in his home with a cutlass.
As of the time this report was filed, the grisly incident’s specifics were still hazy.
Additionally, it was discovered that the pastor was saved by the police after being almost lynched by irate local youths.
Comrade Israel Joe, a Delta human rights activist who confirmed the incident, had earlier urged the police to act swiftly and save the pastor from the wrath of the jungle.
