More than 50,000 people have signed a petition to outlaw the Marlian Music label.
Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba aka Mohbad, a former Marlian Music signee, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, prompting the creation of the petition on change.org.
A year after his contentious breakup from the Naira Marley-owned record company over an internal conflict and assault allegations, the talented singer passed away.
The investigation into Mohbad’s death was made public by the police on Thursday.
A petition to outlaw the late singer’s former record label, Marlian Music, has however been started by enraged fans.
At the time this report was filed, the petition had amassed more than 50,000 signatures.
