A businessman from Uganda weds seven wives on the same day.

Ssaalongo Nsikonenne Habib Ssezzigu, a businessman from Uganda, married seven wives on the same day.

On Sunday, September 10, 2023, the wedding ceremony took place in Bugereka village, Mukono district.

Of his seven wives, two are his biological sisters.

The event began around 8 a.m., when the brides were driven to nearby salons for styling before being put in ready Super Custom vans with personalized license plates bearing each bride’s name.

After exchanging vows, Nsikonnene and his seven wives held a large procession through the towns of Kalagi, Kasana, and Nakifuma, which was led by boda boda cyclists, before making their way to their home at 6 o’clock in the evening.

The couples moved in a convoy while being applauded by onlookers who had gathered along the roadside to witness the ceremony.

The wedding ceremony began with a concert.

Some people had trouble believing it was real, while others claimed it was their first time seeing such a thing.

Mariam, Madinah, Aisha, Zainabu, Fatuma, Rashida, and Musanyusa, who has been Habib’s first wife for seven years, are among the wives.

As gifts for each of his wives, Habib also purchased brand-new automobiles.

The brides arrived at the reception to find their seats ready and marked with their names.

In his remarks at the reception, Nsikonnene thanked his wives for their devotion to him.

He was proud to say, “My wives don’t compete with one another.”.

To create a single, enormously happy family, “I introduced them separately and decided to marry them all at once.”.

He declared that he would eventually add more wives.

I’m still a young man, and, God willing, in the near future, I can’t say this is the end of it, he continued.

The father of the bride-to-be, Hajj Abdul Ssemakula, stated that polygamy has been practiced in this family, and that his grandfather had six wives who were separated by curtains in a single home.

He said, “My own late father had five wives, and I have four wives who live in one house.”.

According to legend, Habib broke the Ugandan record for the most simultaneous marriages.
