The school administration, however, claimed in a statement that no part of her body had been mutilated after visiting the morgue where her body was deposited.

Members of the FUOYE STUDENT UNION GOVERNMENT (FUOYESUG) visited the morgue as we said goodbye to MODUPE and were able to confirm to everyone that, in contrast to claims and rumors circulating, no part of her body was mutilated.

We can also confirm that at least twelve (12) people have been arrested in connection with the crime, and we would not stop until the perpetrators are brought to justice.
