Serie A club Udinese are on the trail of Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Dennis.
Dennis is out of favour at Nottingham Forest less than a year after joining the Premier League club.
The 25-year-old was not included in Forest’s opening three league games of the season against Arsenal, Sheffield United and Manchester United.
Dennis’ last appearance for Forest was against Crystal Palace in May.
Udinese are now ready to offer him a lifeline as they look for a replacement for their striker Beto.
Beto is set to complete a move to Everton this week.
Dennis made 19 appearances for Forest last season, mostly as a substitute. He scored twice and provided two assists
