In Aso Villa, Tinubu meets with Okonjo-Iweala

At around 2:50 p.m., Okonjo-Iweala and Dr. Ali Pate, a former Minister of State for Health under the administration of Goodluck Jonathan, arrived at the Presidential Villa.

During their meeting, Prof.

Bola Tinubu, the president of the World Trade Organization, will discuss a number of topics.

At the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

In addition to Dr.dot Ali Pate, the former Minister of State for Health under the administration of Goodluck Jonathan, Okonjo-Iweala arrived at the Presidential Villa at around 2:50 p.m., according to igberetv report.

In the administration of Jonathan, Okonjo-Iweala served as both the finance minister and the economy’s coordination minister.

When the former finance minister posted the first batch of photos from the Paris Global Financial Summit on social media in June, she left out Tinubu, who had just been sworn in, drawing criticism for posting photos of herself with some presidents.

The pictures showed her interacting with the leaders of Brazil, Senegal, South Africa’s Cyril Ramaphosa, and Zambia’s Hakainde Hichilema.

More pictures from the Paris Summit for a New Global Financing Pact. With HE President @LulaOficial HE President @Macky_Sall HE President @CyrilRamaphosa HE President @HHichilema and HE President @HHichilema NewGlobalFinancingPact,” she wrote in the caption of one of the tweets that left out Tinubu.

Some irate Nigerians attacked Okonjo-Iweala in the comments section after it was revealed that President Tinubu was absent from the photos.

They claimed that by doing so, she diminished the significance of Tinubu’s attendance at the meeting.

In response to criticism, she posted pictures in which she could be seen at the summit with President Tinubu and other top leaders.

“.

But the criticism didn’t stop.

It appears that Okonjo-Iweala tweeted the explanation for the initial omission in order to ease the tension.

“Nigerians, calm down. Interesting attacks from both sides in Paris. Sadly demonstrates the extent of polarization in our society. The order in which the accompanying staff or coworkers send me their photos is how I post them. It is unwise to glean more from it. Let’s work together to strengthen our nation rather than wage war, she urged.
