Youths from the Amandugba village flocked to the home of the local doctor in anticipation of retaliation, but he had already left his house, spreading panic throughout the neighborhood.
A well-known native doctor by the name of Nze Law and his domestic staff are said to have killed one of their housekeepers by beating him to death for allegedly eating meat.
According to information obtained by SaharaReporters, the incident, which is said to have occurred on Sunday evening and involved youths from the same Amandugba community in the Isu Local Government Area as the deceased teen, reportedly caused them to go on the rampage in Amankwo village, Alaenyi Ogwa in the Mbaitoli LGA, where the incident occurred.
According to sources who spoke to igberetv, the native doctor killed the victim and then made sure that his body was buried in a nearby bush without the victim’s family’s knowledge.
According to one of the sources, the deceased, known only as Sunny, was beaten to death by the native doctor and his other domestic helpers for allegedly consuming some meat kept by the native doctor without the consent of his principal.
Youths from the Amandugba village flocked to the native doctor’s house to exact revenge as a result of the development, but he had already left. This spread panic throughout the neighborhood.
Further information revealed that as the youths attempted to destroy Nze Law’s mansion, state police command personnel were called in to control the situation.
The deceased youth was subjected to general beating by the native doctor and his domestic servants because he consumed a piece of roasted meat without the permission of his principal, a village source told igberetv. When Saharareporters contacted Henry Okoye, the spokesman for the Imo State police command, he said he had not yet received the details but promised to share them as soon as they were available.
They beat him until he passed away, and without even contacting his family, they buried him in a nearby bush, according to one of the sources in the community.
So, when word of this reached his people in Amandugba, a nearby community to Ogwa, the young people in the area mobilized, felt bad, and stormed the home of the local physician at Amankwo to exact revenge on the victim’s death.
“But fortunately for Nze Law, he already knew about the invasion plan and left before they arrived.
So, by the time the young people got to Nze Law’s house, some police officers had also arrived and stopped them from carrying out their plan to harm Nze Law. “.
Henry Okoye, the spokesman for the Imo State police command, told SaharaReporters that he had not yet received the information but promised to share it as soon as it became available.
