Chelsea have identified four alternatives to Moises Caicedo as transfer talks for the £100 million Brighton midfielder rumble on.
According to the Times, Chelsea’s first choice after Caicedo is Southampton’s Romeo Lavia, who is also a target for Premier League rival Liverpool.
The west London club also like Ajax’s Edson Alvarez and Celta Vigo’s Gabi Veiga.
The last name on the list is Leeds’ Tyler Adams, who is said to have a cheap relegation release clause.
Chelsea are keen to sign a new midfielder this summer transfer window after losing the likes of Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic, and N’Golo Kante.
Their top target is to sign Caicedo, but so far they have yet to meet Brighton’s asking price for the player
