Rivers United winger Mark Gibson has revealed that playing in the Nigeria Premier League has improved his mental strength.
The Liberian star believes the NPL is one of the strongest leagues in Africa.
He also stressed that playing for the Pride of Rivers has further boosted his confidence as a player.
“Nigeria Premier League is one of the toughests on the continent, ” Gibson told DAILY POST in Eket.
“The league has help me grow my mental strength as an individual and player.
“Playing here in Rivers United gives me confidence of achieving greater height in football because of the collective demands for achievement in the team.”
Gibson joined Rivers United from Watanga FC at the start of the 2022-23 NPL season
