Super Eagles forward, Cyriel Dessers has turned down a move to Scottish Premiership club, Glasgow Rangers.
The Light Blues have been making efforts to sign the Nigerian since the end of the season but it appears they will have to look elsewhere.
Dessers, according to Calciomercato, rejected the Gers as his intention is to remain in Italy.
Serie A club, Torino are expected to approach Cremonese for his services and he is keen on the move.
The 28-year-old is pushing to leave Cremonese following their relegation from Serie A.
Dessers scored six goals in 26 league appearances for the Tigers last season.
The striker only joined Cremonese from Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk last summer
