Adebayo Adeleye is full of excitement after making his maiden appearance for the Super Eagles.
The Hapoel Jerusalem shot stopper started in goal in Nigeria’s 3-2 win against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone on Sunday.
Adeleye conceded twice in the encounter played at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, Monrovia, but put up a good display.
The 23-year-old took to social media to celebrate his competitive debut for the three-time African champions.
“Dream debut done and dusted. Thank you to everyone for believing in me & for the support,” he wrote on his Twitter handle.
