Former Special Assistant to Senator David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State on
Media and Publicity has congratulated his principal on his inauguration as a Senator today.
In a statement made available to IGBERE TV, Hon. Nwaze said Umahi’s inauguration shows exemplary leadership and the trust placed in his abilities to serve at a national level.
He noted that Umahi’s accomplishments in improving infrastructure, promoting development, and fostering inclusive governance have been commendable by almost all.

I profoundly congratulate the transformer of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Senator David Nweze Umahi, CON, FNSE, FNATE, GGCEHF on your induction as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria! This is a momentous occasion that reflects your exemplary leadership and the trust placed in your abilities to serve at a national level. Your transition from the position of Governor of Ebonyi State to Senator is a testament to your dedication, hard work, and the impact you have made in your previous position as Governor of Ebonyi State. It’s a transition from state to national politics where we have a firm conviction that you will perform excellently.
Throughout your tenure as Governor, you have displayed remarkable vision, commitment, and a genuine concern for the welfare of the people, you were futuristic which made you realize many life-transformative projects. Your accomplishments in improving infrastructure, promoting development, and fostering inclusive governance have been commendable by almost all.
As you embark on this new chapter, we do not doubt that you will bring the same level of passion, integrity, and dedication as a Senator. Your experience and expertise will undoubtedly contribute to the betterment of Ebonyi State, South East, and our great nation in general.
