U-17 AFCON: Burkina Faso danger man suspended for Golden Eaglets clash

Burkina Faso will be without their danger man, Ousmane Camara for Thursday’s (today) quarter-final clash against Nigeria, IgbereTV reports.

The striker is suspended for the game after receiving two bookings in the group stage of the ongoing 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

Camara is a key member of the Young Stallions side.

The Mali-born player was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) and scooped the top scorer award with four goals at the WAFU B Championship which was won by the Golden Eaglets last year.

The winners of the West derby will join Senegal and Morocco in the semi-finals as well as the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The encounter at the Nelson Mandela Stadium, Algiers, will kick-off at 8pm Nigerian time
