The petitioner alleged that the suspect impersonated one Raymond Bush, who works in the United States Treasury, to defraud the victim of $268,000.00.

The EFCC spokesperson added that the suspect will be arraigned in court soon

Reacting to the development, a former Executive Deputy Chairman of Bende Local Government Area, Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro said

“Don’t be intimidated by their stupendous display of wealth on Social media.

“Here is Mr Precious Ojo, aka Obago, a suspected internet fraudster in Oghara, Delta State that was paraded by the EFCC for duping an American woman of over $268,000, in Nigerian currency that’s about Hundred and forty million.

“He used the money to buy exotic cars for himself, built an expensive hotel with a customized number plate he drives.

“A lot of young people may have prayed to be like him.

“My fellow youngmen, don’t be intimidated by their show of wealth on social media, those who struggled to make wealth don’t lavish it in a stupendous manner.

“Your struggles one day will pay off, it must not pay in a Yahoo manner, there is still dignity in Labor.”
