Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Tinubu, paid tribute to former President, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, who died 13 years ago on May 5, 2010, IGBERETV reports.
Tinubu who joined other Nigerians to mark the thirteenth anniversary of Yar’Adua’s passing referred to Yar’Adua as a brother in the struggle for democracy and good governance in Nigeria. He wrote on Twitter;
“We’ll Never Forget You!
Today, as always, I remember my good friend and brother in the struggle for democracy and good governance in Nigeria, late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, who died on this day 13 years ago.”
