Senator Shehu Sani has stated what he believes to be the real reason for the Federal Government’s postponement of Nigeria’s 2023 population and housing census, IGBERETV reports.
The Buhari-led Federal Government said the reason for the postponement is to enable the country make adequate preparations for an accurate and reliable census. The census earlier scheduled for May 3-7 has been shifted to a date to be determined by the incoming administration.
Reacting to the development, Shehu Sani wrote on his Twitter handle;
“The simple fact is that the FG doesn’t have $1.8 Billion for the Census and now shifted the Wahala to Asiwaju.”
