We Must Not Bequeath Anarchy To The Next Generation - Peter Obi

Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi has stressed the need for Nigerians to unite for peace and development of the nation, IGBERETV reports.

Peter Obi stated this following an event he attended in Enugu. He shared photos from the event on Twitter with the caption;

“Yesterday in Enugu, I was delighted to be at an event organised by Nzuko Umunna for the Installation of their new leadership led by Prof Ositadimma Chinedu Nebo, Former Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, as well as the Launching of their book titled ‘Nzuko Umunna Chronicles’.

The event, attended by eminent leaders from all nationalities, was aimed at building bridges, fostering peace, encouraging development, and promoting mutual understanding among the ethnic nationalities in the country. I seized the opportunity to remind everyone that leadership is a trust for service to society.

For us in Nigeria, we must not bequeath anarchy to the next generation. The challenges we face as a people are not specific to a particular region. We must, therefore, unite as one to build a nation that everyone will be proud of. -PO”
