Former Vice Chancellor, University of PortHarcourt, Prof Nimi Briggs dies at 79

Former Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Professor Nimi Briggs is dead.

Prof Briggs died in the early hours of Easter Monday, 2023, at the age of 79.

This was contained in a statement on Monday by the family.

Late Briggs was a Nigerian academic and Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He was also the 5th Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, from 2000-2005
