Chelsea are planning to interview at least five potential candidates to succeed Graham Potter after sacking the Englishman on Sunday.
The Blues are searching for Potter’s permanent successor at the west London club after parting ways with him on Sunday night.
Potter, who was replaced by former Brighton midfielder Bruno Saltor on a temporary basis, was appointed Chelsea manager less than seven months ago.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Chelsea hierarchy is reportedly willing to wait until the end of the 2022/23 season to appoint the club’s new permanent head coach and is keen to interview at least five candidates.
The report added that Chelsea sporting directors, Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, who have been put in charge of the recruitment process, will interview former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann and former Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino
