Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, said his team could not afford to drop more points if they are to make it to the Super Six tournament.
The Sky Blue Stars currently trailed Group A leaders Bendel Insurance with seven points.
Ogunmodede pointed out that at this stage of the competition, there is no room for errors.
The gaffer also urged his players to brace up for the task ahead.
“We can’t afford to be dropping unnecessary points again as we did in the first stanza,” Ogunmodede told DAILY POST.
“The gap between us and the league leaders is a little bit wide so at this stage we need to continue winning to achieve our goals.”
The first three teams in each of the two groups will qualify for the Super Six tourney where the eventual winner would be declared champions of the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League season
