Accept latest developments in interest of Taraba – Bwacha to supporters

The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in the just concluded election, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has asked his supporters and party members to accept the reality of the latest developments in the interest of the state.

He made the call, Monday in a press statement issued to journalists in Jalingo, through the Director, Media and Publicity of his campaign council, Aaron Artimas.

Bwacha, who had earlier called the governor-elect to congratulate him on his election victory, told his political caucus and the APC State Executive Committee that he took the decision to congratulate Agbu in the interest of the peace and tranquillity of the state.

He reasoned that the state is in dire need of peace and unity “at this critical period of political experience,” hence his decision to congratulate him.

Bwacha was among the numerous candidates who jostled for the number one position of the state in last Saturday’s governorship election.

In a related development, the state chapter of the Coalition for Better and Brighter Nigeria (CBBN), has also congratulated the governor-elect on his emergence as the winner of the gubernatorial election in the state.

Coordinator of the group, Evangelist Philip Munlip, in a congratulatory message, said, “we are here to congratulate the governor-elect, Kefas Agbu, on his resounding victory at the March 18 poll.”

The group noted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state “offered the most credible and qualified governorship candidate for this election,” hence their decision to rejoice with the governor-elect and the PDP
