Chelsea has completed the signing of Jamaican striker, Dujuan “Whisper” Richards from Phoenix All-Stars ahead of the 2023-2024 season.
The Blues secured the signature of Richards, who recently underwent a two-week trial at Newcastle United.
This was disclosed by Fabrizio Romano, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Saturday night,
He tweeted, “Official. Chelsea signed Jamaican talent Dujuan ‘Whisper’ Richards — born in 2005, wonderkid joining from Phoenix All-Stars.”
“Newcastle were close to signing him but Chelsea have now completed the deal, director Joe Shields was crucial in the negotiations.
