Bingham University, Nasarawa Bans Students From Using Smart Phones On Campus

Bingham University, a university located in Karu, Nasarawa State has banned its students from using smart phones on campus, IGBERETV reports.

The university owned by the religious institution called Evangelical Church Winning All, (ECWA) released a circular on Wednesday, January 18, to announce that smartphones are now prohibited and anyone caught using them will have their phones seized and face sanctions.

The circular read;

“BAN ON THE USE OF SMART PHONES
Following repeated abuse in the use of smartphones in contravention of section 5.14 subsection i, il and ill of the students handbook, the use of smartphones is hereby prohibited with immediate effect.

Violators of this would have their phones confiscated and face appropriate sanction.
