Four tipper drivers have been abducted in Kwara with the kidnappers demanding a ransom of N20 million.
The wives of the abducted drivers, Channels Television learned, are begging for alms to raise the money.
The Kwara State Police Command said they were abducted on a farm on the outskirt of Ilorin.
“The kidnapping incident is true. Four tipper drivers were kidnapped,” the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, said.
The four drivers, according to sources corroborated by the Police, were abducted by some kidnappers who dressed in military uniform at a site where they went to collect sand which they were to supply to their customers last Saturday
