Gov. Ikpeazu Hands Over Electrical Transformers To 2 Different Groups (Photos)

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu this evening handed over 3 Electric Transformers to 2 different groups in Aba.

This is in fulfillment of promises he made on separate occasions to the two groups.

Some weeks back, members of the Professional Designers Manfacturers Association, an Association of Fashion Designers in a Garment Cluster in the following streets around the Ngwa Road Area – Ibere, Igwilo, Agharandu, Emejiaka, Onyebuchi, Victoria, Arondizuogu Streets and environs, came to the Governor with a passionate appeal to help their businesses from stagnation on account of lack of electricity as a result of the packing up og their transformer.

Also, a group known as SACOPRA comprising of residents of the following streets – Sacred Heart, Chizoba, Obowo and Peter Onono, all around Faulks Road had visited the Governor with a similar complain about the breakdown of their transformer leading to a total blackout in their area for a very long time.

The Governor assured them that new transformers will be made available to them.

Those pledges were fulfilled today as leaders of the 2 groups came to the Governor’s Lodge Aba where the Governor personally handed over the transformers to them.

While the Garment Manufacturers Association got two 500kva transformers, the SACOPRA Streets Association got one 500kva transformer from the Governor.

The excited members of the 2 groups expressed their deepest appreciation to the Governor for his love and support to them.
