Kwara State University Vice Chancellor Is Dead

The Vice Chancellor of the Kwara State University (KWASU) Professor Muhammad Akanbi is dead, IgbereTV reports 

He was said to have died on Sunday and sources adding that he will be buried in his Ilorin hometown on Monday.

Details of circumstances surrounding his death are still sketchy as of the time of gathering this report.

Prof Akanbi was the first son of the late pioneer chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practice and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) Justice Mustapha Akanbi.

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, he became the Vice Chancellor of the Kwara State University, Malete in 2019
