Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has dumped Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran popularly known as Jandor, the Lagos State gubernatorial candidate of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Wike subsequently endorsed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a second term in office.

Sanwo-Olu is the governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
