The Governorship Candidate of Action Alliance in 2023 general elections, Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo has described the report that he has withdrawn from the 2023 Governorship race as false and handiwork of some desperate politicians to deceive members of the public.
In a statement made available to IGBERE TV correspondent, Prince Michael Obasi, Director General, Action Alliance Governorship Campaign Organization, Ebonyi State said the crop of politicians are already threatened by the wide acceptance, massive support and solidarity of Action Alliance and its candidates which they have continued to receive from Ebonyians and other residents of the state ahead of next year’s general elections.
According to the statement, Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo has no intention to withdraw from the 2023 Governorship race and will never withdraw from the race.
He further revealed that Engr Nwadugo and all other candidates of Action Alliance party will live up to their campaign promises if elected in next year’s general election.
The statement reads,
“The attention of Action Alliance Governorship Campaign Organization in Ebonyi State has been drawn to the rumours and fake news being peddled around by some desperate politicians and supporters of a particular political party in the state that the Governorship candidate of our party, Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo has withdrawn from the 2023 Governorship race.”
“The news is completely fake as it is the handiwork of some desperate politicians to deceive members of the public especially esteemed supporters of Action Alliance in Ebonyi State and it’s Governorship candidate, Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo.”
“This is one of the antics of some desperate and drowning politicians aimed at deceiving members of the public to join their fold.”
“These crop of politicians are already threatened by the wide acceptance, massive support and solidarity Action Alliance and it’s candidates have continued to receive from Ebonyians and other residents of the state ahead of next year’s general elections.”
“We wish to state categorically that the Governorship candidate of our great party in Ebonyi State, Action Alliance, Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo has no intention to withdraw from the 2023 Governorship race and will never withdraw from the race.”
“His Governorship ticket is intact and he is still very strong in the race.”
“Ebonyians, residents of the state, supporters of our party and that of our Governorship candidate as well as members of the public are advised to disregard the rumours as it is nothing but fake news manufactured by desperate politicians to create confusion and tension in our party and among our supporters both within and outside the state.”
