2023: Abia APP's Governorship Candidate Kick-Starts Ward-Round Tour

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the leader of the Action Peoples Party (APP) in Abia state and governorship candidate of the party, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu, has taken his political mobilization deeper to the grassroots with a ward-round tour, which kicked off today with a visit to four (4) wards in Ugwunagbo L.G.A.

On his arrival in Ugwunagbo, Chief Kalu and his entourage were received by Hon. Signor Kalu and Chief (Mrs.) Fortune Nwangaga, APP’s candidates for Abia South Senatorial District and Ugwunagbo State House of Assembly constituency, respectively, and proceeded to the palace of His Royal Majesty, Dr. Eze F. O Nwosu, the Asaa I of Abayi Mba Asaa Autonomous Community on a courtesy visit.

Thereafter, Chief Kalu and his team crisscrossed around Ward 3A, Abayi Nchokoro; Ward 3B, Umuaja; Ward 5; and Ward 5B, Akanu Ngwa, where they met and interacted with the party’s faithful, members of Reality Organization, OUK Movement and MUK Movement.

While speaking at every ward visited, the APP governorship candidate and former Chief of Staff to the Abia government, inundated them with his actionable policies and programs that have been outlined for express implementation if he were elected into power.

According to him, his visit is to have first-hand knowledge of the particular needs of each ward.

He further documented the infrastructural and human capital needs of the wards as outlined by the leaders of the respective wards.
