Spice was added to the constituents assembly at Eleoha , Ihechiowa over the appearance of the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu as he and his entourage stormed the venue.
On sighting Kalu alight from his Black coloured SUV, the women numbering over thousand erupted in joyous mood as they sang songs of solidarity in Orji Kalu’s honour.
Defying the heavy downpour , the electorates led by their Leader, Mrs. Nkechi Arunsi Okpko sugred into the Umuchiakuma Town Hall, to host the Senate Chief Whip.
During their interaction Kalu assured the community they’ll experience his roast construction revolution, noting that he has extended the scope of his duty as a Parliamentarian by engaging in road construction and building and renovation of public utilities.
According to Kalu the role of women in Nigeria’s contemporary democracy cannot be overemphasised adding that he’ll continue to support pro-women bills and motions at the Senate.
