Over six persons have been killed at a gas explosion in Owaza, Ukwa West local government area of Abia State, Igbere TV has learnt.
Though the details of the victims are yet to be ascertained, our correspondent gathered that at about 9:50am on Sunday, the victims stormed an illegal oil refining site in Owaza.

They were said to have used a gas cylinder to disconnect an oil pot which exploded in the process and killed the six on the spot, a source who pleaded anonymity revealed.
