APC Governorship Candidate, Nwifuru Encourages Development Centre Coordinators To Remain Steadfast

The 64 Development Centre Coordinators in Ebonyi State, came visiting Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, earlier today, bearing bountiful good wishes and solidarity messages, ahead of the 2023 general elections.

According to statement by Leo Ekene Oketa, Chief Press Secretary to the Honourable Speaker, it was an opportunity for the Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ebonyi State, to rub minds with the grassroots engineers, and find ways to further energize them for the tasks ahead.

Speaking on their behalf, the Vice Chairman of the forum and Coordinator of Ohaozara West Development Centre, Hon. Patrick Enyi, praised the synergy that exists between various arms of Government in the State, an understanding which has seen tremendous development in Ebonyi State. He pointed out Mr. Speaker’s qualities of accommodating young people around him, as key to proper grassroots politics and development.

On their reason for coming, Hon. Enyi noted that they’re aware of the project in sight, and were on hand to identify with him. He went on to pledge their ceaseless support for the Honourable Speaker, as they had never failed in any of their projects.

Addressing the Coordinators, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru thanked them for their visit, kind wishes and support. He encouraged them, as the grassroots mobilizers to always deal directly with their people in the village and identify with them, instead of staying in town without recourse to issues at home.

Speaker Nwifuru charged the Coordinators to go about their duties with every sense of dedication and love. He implored them to be of good assistance to the incoming Local Government Chairmen, to ensure they learn the terrains very well and deliver. He assured them of proper reward for their work, going into the campaign and beyond.

In encouraging them to remain steadfast in their works, the Honourable Speaker reminded them that their positions even that of himself, are a privilege from God. Not because they’re the best persons for the assignments, but out of God’s benevolence. As such, they must deliver their mandates to the best of their abilities and not envy anyone along the line.
