The Executive chairman Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Engr Felix Igboke has said that Governor David Nweze Umahi deserves the commendation of all Nigerians especially those from the south Eastern part.
Engr Igboke stated that what Umahi’s failed presidential bid has succeeded in revealing to us is the level of enemity and conspiracy against the Igbo nation.
According to him, “It is very strong and requires more of Umahi to break it.”
“Umahi fought like a Lion that he is,refusing to compromise his stand even in the face of loosing.”
“What happened did happen for us to be more united in our collective quest for a new Nigeria where the Igbo nation shall be given her due place.”
“As I commend Umahi for his courage and patrotism,i salute Ebonyi delegates and stakeholders for standing with him throughout the period of the election.
I assure you that we are not going to relent until our good is better.Thank you all.”
