Yesterday, Ebonyi State Governor, David Nweze Umahi endorsed sacked Ebonyi State Speaker, Rt. Honourable Ogbonna Nwifuru “as next Governor of Ebonyi State”.
According to him, “I present to Okposi Community, the next Governor of Ebonyi in the person of Ogbonna Nwifuru”.
Having presented the next Governor of Ebonyi State to Okposi Community, there is still need for him to present the sacked speaker to Ebonyians because Ebonyi doesn’t end within Okposi.
Ebonyians need to examine the intellectual capacity of the person whom Umahi has anointed in order to avoid calamity from be falling all Ebonyians then everybody will understand the meaning of “Nwifuru”.
It’s not going to be uhuru for any candidate in 2023 just because a sitting Governor endorsed him.
Ebonyians need to know the pedigree of Nwifuru. What has he done before becoming the Speaker?
What’s the track record of Nwifuru as the Speaker of Ebonyi State?
What’s his qualification?
Until these questions are answered, Ebonyians need to keep searching for the right candidate lead them from 2023.
