Information reaching our news desk shows that no fewer than twenty bandits raided the Pipeline Extension area in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja, displacing residents, IgbereTV reports
According to reports, the bandits raided the location around 2 a.m. on Wednesday after operating for more than an hour.
According to eyewitnesses who described the incident, the armed hoodlums arrived with a variety of hazardous weapons and injured the community’s local vigilantes before robbing the area house to house.
Additionally, the hoodlums reportedly attacked and stole high-valued items such as phones, electronics, and other gadgets.
According to one of the victims interviewed by SaharaReporters, the robbers threatened to kill his eight-year-old son if he did not give them money.
Another victim told SaharaReporters that when the matter was reported at the station, the police inquired as to whether the thieves had guns or were simply street robbers
