A young man, Chukwuma Felix Ukairo, who was reportedly kidnapped after boarding a commercial bus in Egbeda, Lagos state on Friday morning, March 11, 2022, has been released, IGBERETV reports.
Chukwuma’s mother had taken to Twitter to raise alarm and ask for help in finding her son after the adductors called her demanding for ransom.
According to her, her son, who was headed to a bank in Egbeda, boarded the commercial bus in the area and was unfortunately abducted.
“My son CHUKWUMA FELIX Ukairo is missing this morning was on his way to the bank at Egbeda and he took a bus and the kidnappers are asking for randoms.please help find him 08098559741 for any information”, she wrote.

In an updated tweet she revealed her son was released after she paid the kidnapers ransom.
She further revealed that the boy was drugged, beaten, and was pushed from a moving vehicle two bus stops away from their home after the ransom was paid.
“He has been found, they threw him out of a moving car two bus stops from home,yes we paid the ransom. I have all d details of the account number we paid the ransom. He was beaten up and drugged. The police is working on the case. Thank you all!”, she wrote.
