Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, has fired his Chief of Staff, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-eyen, Igbere TV reports.
The removal of Mr Inyang-eyen as the Chief of Staff to the governor was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Emmanuel Ekuwem.
The Governor in the letter thanked the former Chief of Staff for his services to the State.
He added that the removal of the Chief of Staff is a step to maintain the momentum of Economic Development in the State by matching Skills set and competencies to positions.
His removal is with immediate effect.
