Zainab Marwa-Abubakar, one of the daughters of Mohammed Buba Marwa, the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, has been recognized for her political zeal, IgbereTV reports.
Mallam Mohammed Bello, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has nominated her as a Special Assistant on Community Relations.
The 40-year-old mother of five, who entered politics in 2018 after 10 years as a housewife, is ecstatic about her new role and has promised to use it as a stepping stone to realising her ambition of being a part of the solution to Nigeria’s woes.
Zainab’s foray into politics began in 2019 when she ran for the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency in the 2019 general election, but lost.
She has a background in law and service management through her Zawram Foundation, which promotes peace and improves citizens’ economic status, and her Aspire Women Forum. Her most recent appointment will undoubtedly help her in future surveys.
