Nollywood veteran, Ada Ameh, disclosed how early sexual exposure made her a babymama, IgbereTV reports.
She said that she became pregnant at the age of 13 as a result of her peers exposing her to sex at a young age.
In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo on his show, WithChude, where she discussed her personal life and work, the actress revealed this.
The actress, who is most known for her part in the Johnsons series, stated that she was influenced by her classmates, which led to her being pregnant at the age of 13.
“It wasn’t my parents,” she remarked when asked about the cause of her early pregnancy. My peers had an impact on me. They were the ones who introduced me to ‘early sex.’ I became pregnant as a result of a chain of events.
“I got pregnant in March and I had my baby in December same year. That means I got pregnant when I was 13+.
“The most beautiful part is that, on my 15th birthday, my baby was barely five months old. I was marched out of the Barracks.”
Ameh claimed that she turned to alcoholism during that time because she felt she had already achieved freedom.
Despite her early motherhood, the actress lost her 30-year-old daughter, Aladi Godgift, in October 2020.
Aladi died in Abuja following an unsuccessful surgery, and the devastated mother paid a visit to her daughter’s cemetery site a few weeks ago to commemorate her one-year anniversary.
“One thing that has been difficult for me is allowing my daughter to leave for Abuja.” I left her to leave the house on the day I made that error. I’ve had that remorse my whole life.” In a recent interview, Ameh revealed.
