A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Hon. Mashood Salvador, says the absence of the National leader of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has worsened the crisis in the party, IgbereTV reports.
Speaking with reporters in Lagos on Wednesday, Salvador said members under the platform of the Conscience Forum have been marginalized and treated unfairly.
The former state Chairman of the PDP alleged that the APC National Caretaker Committee led by its chairman, Mai Mala Buni, has been working against the interest of the members.
He, however, advised the committee to immediately intervene in the crisis before it is too late and recognize the members of the Conscience Forum as legitimate members of APC in Lagos.
Salvador said one of his members won at the primary election and was the flag bearer of the party at Amuwo-Odofin local government but his name was changed before the inauguration.
The former PDP chairman lamented that his members have not been given appropriate recognition since they joined the APC in 2018
