In furtherance of its efforts at saving cost of governance and reinvigorating the status of Enugu, to continue to play a leading role as the historic capital of the South East geo-political zone of Nigeria, the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State is constructing a 600-seater state-of-the-art Banquet Hall with basement offices, meeting rooms and retaining walls, among other facilities, located within the premises of the recently remodeled Old Government Lodge at GRA, Enugu, which has a newly constructed Annex.
Other projects at the premises of the remodeled Old Government Lodge, Enugu, include 10 units of Executive Guest Houses and 24 units of Guest Flats with Dining Hall, for routine guests of the state government, as well as a standard Lawn Tennis Court fitted with lighting facilities for physical exercise and landscaping works at the site, among others.
