A robbery suspect has been set ablaze by an angry mob in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, IgbereTV reports.
IgbereTV gathered that the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, August 14, after the suspect was allegedly caught while attempting to rob a house in the hood.
The suspect was said to have successfully burgled other homes before running out of luck while breaking into another house. He was chased to a spot along the Cinema area in popular Okumagba Avenue, where he was doused with petrol and burnt to death.
Officers from the B Division of the police who heard news of the incident arrived the area to prevent further breakdown of law and order.
