The Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB have declared weekly lockdown in all Biafra states, effective from August 9 2021, If detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu is not released on or before August 8 2021, IgbereTV reports.
This was made known in a letter signed by the Head of directorate of IPOB, Mazi Chika Edoziem, on 28th July 2021.
According to the letter, the lockdown will be conducted every Monday starting from 9th August until Nnamdi Kanu is released unconventionally.
