The Governor of Abia State Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has approved the constitution of Abia State Special Taskforce on Illegal Oil Activities and Pipeline Protection.

Barr. Chris Ezem, Secretary to Abia State Government said the members of the Taskforce are as follows:
1. Victor Nwamkpa – Chairman
2. Hon. Amaechi Hanson – Secretary
3. Kalu James Ekudu – member
4. Hon. Ndubuisi Nworgu – member
5. Okechi Alozie – member
6. Ngozi Monday – member
7. Akobundu Chimaobi Godswill – member
8. Cyprain Obia – member
“The Taskforce will be inaugurated on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 1:00pm prompt at the conference room of the Secretary to Abia state Government.”
“All are expected to be seated before 12:30pm.”
