Sen. Ogba Gives Cash, Phone To Ebonyi Woman Whose Food Was Thrown Away By Commissioner

By Wisdom Nwedene, Abakaliki
The senator representing Ebonyi Central senatorial District, Senator Obinna Ogba has given undisclosed amount of money to a trader whose food was thrown away by power drunk Ebonyi State Commissioner for Capital Territory Development, Barrister Onyekachi Nwebonyi.
IGBERE TV had reported that the trader identified as Mrs. Ukpai was in tears after the Commissioner threw away her food on the ground.
Mrs Ukpai who was in tears said that was her only source of feeding her children.
The Senator who was moved after seeing the video published by IGBERE TV sent his media aide, Godfrey Chikwere to donate cash and replace her phone which was stolen during the ugly incident.
Speaking to IGBERE TV correspondent after the donation, Mr Chikwere said while  arrangement is being made to get a permanent place for Mrs. Ukpai’s  business, Senator Ogba has replaced her damaged business in cash and replace her stolen phone  with a brand new one.
According sen. Ogba, “while we are not supporting any effort in making the state capital indecent, public office holders should know that they are ruling over human beings and not animals in an animal kingdom. We must therefore learn how to use human face in handling human activities”.
Mrs Ukpai appreciated the Senator for the gifts and pleaded with Nigerians to help her get a place to stay permanently.
Meanwhile, many Nigerians have condemned the dastardly act of Barrister Onyekachi Nwebonyi, calling the Ebonyi State Governor, David Nweze Umahi to call him to order before he will set Ebonyi State ablaze through his actions.
IGBERE TV reports that this is not the first time the Commissioner is destroying people’s property and goods.
