“Our Visit To The Rural Areas Opened Our Eyes To Ugwuanyi’s Huge Impact In The Lives Of Enugu People” – Enugu Health Volunteer Team

GburusCare initiative – an association of Enugu health volunteer team has praised the Enugu state Governor Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his rural development strides which according to the group has created a huge impact in the lives of the ordinary people especially the rural dwellers, IgbereTV reports.

The initiative fulfils its mandate of driving health awareness to rural areas and also tending to the health needs of senior citizens with the help of the volunteer services of health and medical professionals.

The Health professionals who devote their time and energy to move down to different localities in Enugu state explained that the GburusCare initiative has become a platform for them to contribute to the advancement of humanity, the state and also actionably express their love for Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Speaking during a meeting with The State Governor, the Director General of the group, Sct. Darlington Ugwuegbe commended the governor for his rural development drive.

“Our days of sojourn to the rural areas have widely opened our eyes to the huge impact your Government has made on the lives of the Enugu people. Communities that hitherto do not have roads, now have good motorable roads. We confess that this has also helped to make our journey and outreach seemless” he said.

The Director General of the Initiative stated that the volunteers are motivated by their love for Gov. Ugwuanyi and the state and also by their lifetime commitment to the advancement of humanity.

The team praised the governor for the building and renovation of health centers across many communities and maintained that the home to home care for the aged is in no way an addition or a replacement for health centers.
