The High Court sitting at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, presided over by Justice Senchi has struck out the case brought before it by Mr. Frank Ibezim.
Ibezim, who approached the court for an order to compel the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to issue him Certificate of return as the authentic candidate of the All Progressives Congress,APC in the December bye-election for Imo North senatorial zone of Imo State.
Delivering the Judgment, the presiding Judge struck out the case for lack of merit.
It will be recalled that Ibezim was disqualified by a Federal High court sitting in Abuja for certificate forgery and perjury which judgment was also affirmed by two panels of the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.
IgbereTv also learnt that Justice Senchi also awarded the cost of N250,000.00 against Frank Ibezim for abuse of court process.
