Orluzurumee Youths, the apex Youth association for the people of Imo West (Orlu Zone) have called for restraint from all quarters over what it termed “a brotherly altercation” between the erstwhile governor of Imo State and current senator representing the area in the National Assembly, Senator Rochas Okorocha, in one hand and the incumbent governor and former senator of the zone, Senator Hope Uzodinma in another hand.
Interacting with a select group of journalists in Umuowa, Orlu, when he went to pay a condolence to the family of the late MacDonald Eze Anugom (Nwatakwochaa n’Orlu), the National President of the body, Prince Arthur Madumere, enjoined everybody to apply restraint as it is a matter between two illustrious sons of Orlu Zone and will be handled by Orlu Zone stakeholders.
“Both Okorocha and Uzodinma are our sons and highly placed in the society. We cannot feign ignorance of the animosity between them presently but i assure you that we’ll handle it the way we handle issues bothering on Orlu zone unity”, he concluded.
He called the various supporters and media aides of the two gladiators to sheath their swords and stop overheating the polity as it will only cause more harm than good.
He enjoined the family of Anugom to bear the loss of the billionaire philanthropist with total faith in God.
